Zildžić: It's true I forgot the gun in the car, everything about the OSA BiH ID card is a lie

(Patria) - Federal representative Salko Zildžić has been released from custody, after the Higher Court in Užice today accepted the agreement he reached with the prosecution and he will be home in Tuzla today.

- It's true that I forgot the gun was in the car and that they found it during the search. I showed that I have a weapons permit, and they told me I had to go to the MUP - Zildžić told Faktor.

He emphasizes that everything else is a lie, stating that he does not have any ID card of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "nor was anything found on me, nor did I show anything to anyone."

- The only ID card I had was the one from the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it remained at the depot while I was in custody and nothing more.

As for the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I will do my job as long as I am there, and for everything else I will consult with lawyers - added Zildžić.

Let us recall, Zildžić was charged with illegal production, possession, carrying and trade of weapons and explosive materials, because a pistol and ammunition for which he did not have a permit from the competent authority of Serbia were found at the Bajina Bašta border crossing.

He reached an agreement with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Užice, under which he was sentenced to one year of house arrest and was released immediately after the Higher Court in Užice accepted the agreement.

The verdict will be forwarded to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then the competent court has the obligation to summon him to serve the sentence.

Given that he was sentenced to one year of house arrest, Zildžić will be able to buy out the sentence under the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
