Vandal act near Livno: Flags of BiH set on fire

(Patria) - Residents of the village of Golinjevo near Livno reported to the police that during the night, flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which had previously been placed at the local sports field for the World Championship, were destroyed and set on fire.

According to information from the Ministry of Interior of Canton 10, the disappearance of a total of 13 flags was reported. Police officers immediately went to the scene to determine the circumstances of the incident.

The police stated that they are working intensively to shed light on the case and are taking all legally prescribed measures to identify and find the responsible persons.

The City Organization of the SDA Livno also commented on the incident, condemning the burning of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, describing the act as a vandal attack on state symbols.

"We strongly condemn the burning of the flag of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the village of Golinjevo near Livno as a vandal act directed against the symbols of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the SDA stated.

They also demand that the competent institutions urgently clarify the circumstances of this act.
