Everything is ready: Hajjis from BiH depart for Arafat tonight

(Patria) - Hajjis from Bosnia and Herzegovina will leave Mecca around midnight tonight and head for Arafat, where they will spend the day tomorrow with millions of Hajjis from around the world.

"We are extremely satisfied with our work and success in terms of organization. First, all Hajjis arrived alive and well at their destination, as they all performed the Umrah rituals, and we have prepared everything necessary for tonight's departure to Arafat," said Dževad-ef. Hadžić, head of the Hajj and Umrah Office of the Islamic Community in BiH, for MINA Agency.

He described the transportation of Hajjis to Arafat as an extremely complex and demanding operation, but he expects all our Hajjis to be accommodated in tents by dawn.

At that time, 375 of our Hajjis who went to Mina last night will join them.

"Last night, together with the guides, we prepared everything - the plan for transporting Hajjis to Arafat, as well as the return plan, which is very important, as it is one of the most difficult segments that awaits us, considering that it requires walking about 15 kilometers," said Hadžić.

He announced that only healthy Hajjis will make this journey, while buses have been prepared for the sick to take them from Arafat to the hotel.

A special religious program will be held at Arafat, where the main lecture will be delivered by this year's Reisul-Hudžadž, Mufti Nusret-ef. Abdibegović.

After the program, in the afternoon, he will recite the Arafat prayer. After that, the tents at Arafat will be vacated and the pilgrims will move to Muzdalifah, wait for midnight, and then depart for the Jamarat, where stones are thrown at the Great Jamrah.

"With this, we have actually completed the main ritual. On the first or second day of Eid, depending on how the groups plan, the Hajj tawaf awaits us, and with that, we have completed the Hajj. In the next two days, we will be throwing stones at all three Jamarat, which completes all the Hajj rituals," explained efendija Hadžić.

Our Hajjis will travel from Mecca to Medina, where they will visit the Prophet's Mosque and other landmarks of this city, and the return of the first plane from Medina to Sarajevo is planned for June 25.

This year, 2224 citizens of our country will perform the Hajj organized by the Hajj and Umrah Office of the Islamic Community in BiH.
