Stevandić: Special session of the NSRs tomorrow, security situation and response to Schmidt on the agenda

(Patria) - A special session of the National Assembly of the RS will be held tomorrow starting at 10 AM, decided the Collegium of the highest legislative body in the RS.

The agenda of the session will include the current security situation in the world, with repercussions for Republika Srpska, confirmed Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

"Only members of the Club for Justice and Order were not present. We adopted only one item, which is the consideration of the security situation. We unanimously adopted everything. We also agreed that the presidents of all parliamentary parties will address the assembly at the request of the SDS, for 10 minutes each," said Stevandić.

After that, he noted that decisions and conclusions should be made which, as he says, condemn the actions of the illegal High Representative in BiH and foreign ambassadors, primarily the American one.

"Our goal is to protect the Constitution in BiH. This is a violation of rights. One of my personal proposals will be that the use of any threats against citizens of the RS, by political representatives, without a decision from the UN Security Council, constitutes a threat of terrorism," said the President of the NSRs.

"It is idiotic to say that he will implement the law in five municipalities, and not in others. This is pure idiocy. It has been immediately condemned by the European Union and by Croats. The illegal representative has two peoples, an entity, the European Union, the Security Council against him. There is no place other than this theater in BiH where such a thing would be done. If he were smart, he would go home," Stevandić said, commenting on Schmidt's decision.

He said that tomorrow's session will discuss the RS's response to this imposition.

"I would rewrite his law and state that it applies to every municipality, not just a few. Scanners do not bother us," Stevandić pointed out.

When asked if this would affect the agreements of the authorities in Sarajevo, Stevandić said that any agreement is better than imposition, interventionism, and inciting one against another.

"This is taking us back to bad things. Some media outlets support him and literally act as if they want to incite people against each other. We agreed on many other things in Laktaši, we adopted some, which Europe recognized. Now the question is whether the 'troika' will wait for Schmidt and whether they will do things properly," Stevandić emphasized.
