Vuković takes oath, officially enters the House of Peoples

(Patria) - Nenad Vuković, Secretary General of the PDP, has taken the oath of mandate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the PDP announced.

The Central Election Commission of BiH unanimously decided on July 4 to determine the results of the mandate allocation by drawing lots for one delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH from the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, whereby the mandate was awarded to Nenad Vuković.

Recall, after the General Elections in BiH, the mandate of delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH was awarded to Snježana Novaković Bursać. Subsequently, the PDP filed an appeal with the Constitutional Court of BiH, which found that the PDP, as a party to the proceedings, did not have the opportunity to present its views before the Court of BiH.

Following this, a new decision by the Central Election Commission stipulated that the mandate belongs to Nenad Vuković, not Novaković Bursać, and the Court of BiH confirmed that the "disputed ballot" from the voting in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska was valid, meaning that the lists on which Snježana Novaković Bursać and Nenad Vuković had the same number of votes. Shortly thereafter, a draw was held, and the ball indicated that the mandate belongs to Vuković.
