(Patria) - Very unhealthy air this morning in Visoko and Sarajevo, so citizens are advised to avoid staying outdoors, while in Banja Luka it is unhealthy for sensitive population groups, it was announced on the website "Zrak.ekoakcija".
Measurements at 8:00 AM showed that the air quality index in Sarajevo is 209, and 235 in Visoko.
Those suffering from lung and heart diseases, pregnant women, children and the elderly should avoid any outdoor activities. Others are recommended to avoid prolonged or heavy exertion.
Unhealthy air this morning in Tuzla, where the quality index is 171, in Zenica 169, in Ilijaš 193, and 180 in Kladanj. In Hadžići it is 184, in Lukavac 164, in Kakanj 165, and 190 in Maglaj.
In Banja Luka, Vogošća, Jajce and Bihać the air is unhealthy for sensitive population groups. The air quality index in Banja Luka is 112, in Vogošća and Jajce 142, and 119 in Bihać.
The air quality index value from zero to 50 is good, from 51 to 100 moderately polluted, from 101 to 150 unhealthy for sensitive population groups, from 151 to 200 unhealthy, from 201 to 300 very unhealthy, and above 300 is hazardous to health.
