Government of ZDK made a decision: A cantonal television station is being established

(Patria) - The Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton adopted at today's session amendments to the Law on Proclamation of the Tajan Nature Monument, and a decision on establishing the public enterprise "Television of the Zenica-Doboj Canton".

Regarding the amendments to this law, the Minister for Spatial Planning, Transport and Communications and Environmental Protection of ZDK, Adnan Šabani, said that they have aligned the legal regulations for the protected areas of Tajan near Zavidovići and Zvijezda near Vareš.

- With these amendments, we have created the possibility to form a public institution for protected areas of ZDK, so at the next session of the ZDK Assembly on June 30, there will also be an amendment to this law, and we will very soon start establishing this public institution. This will certainly give new strength and energy to ensure these areas are properly protected - said Šabani, adding that it will also enable better promotion of the tourist potentials and beauties of the protected areas of ZDK.

Regarding the establishment of Television ZDK, the ZDK Assembly at the beginning of this year, at the proposal of independent representative Omer Škaljo, adopted a decision to prepare a feasibility study.

- Today we also adopted a decision on establishing the public enterprise TV ZDK. By forming this enterprise, we will certainly make a step forward and have a better media image of the work of the ZDK Government and all activities in the coming period, and sessions of the ZDK Assembly will also be broadcast. This will allow us to have better communication with citizens and everyone else - emphasized Šabani.

After the ZDK Assembly adopts the decision at its session at the end of this month, all preparations will be carried out during the year so that the cantonal television, after the new budget is adopted, officially begins its work at the beginning of next year.
