(Patria) - The road surface on most routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina is dry or wet in places.

BiHAMK warns of the possibility of landslides and falling rocks onto the road. They appeal to drivers to adjust their driving and speed to the current road conditions.

Road repair works are underway on the Kakanj-Lašva section of the A-1 motorway, due to which the left side of the motorway is closed for 3 km, and traffic is directed to the opposite side, two-way.

Traffic is moving in the overtaking lane at the work sites on the A-1 motorway sections Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi, Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, and Bijača-Počitelj (over the Hercegovina bridge).

Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there are 19 km of gravel road), while trucks must use the route via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

On the Tuzla-Bijeljina main road (Banj Brdo), vehicles up to 3.5 tons are using one lane, alternating, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

On the M-5 main road, Izačić-Bihać border crossing, bridge reconstruction works are being carried out. Vehicles are being redirected to a temporary bypass in the immediate vicinity of the works, with alternating traffic flow.

There are long queues of vehicles at the exits from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Hadžin Potok, Velika Kladuša, Bosanska Kostajnica, Bosanska Dubica, Gradina, Bosanska Gradiška, Bosanski Novi, and Bosanski Brod.

At other border crossings, traffic is increased on exit, but for now, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry and exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.

Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at Šepak border crossing.
