(Patria) - The Kovači Memorial Center, the Museum of Sarajevo, and the Sidran Foundation, on the occasion of May 5th, the Day of Remembrance of the Murdered Children of Sarajevo, are organizing a special program to contribute to honoring our youngest fellow citizens - victims of the Siege of Sarajevo.
On that day, in the ceremonial hall of the Memorial Center, the audience will have the opportunity to listen to selected verses by Abdulah Sidran, created during the siege, which carry the memory of the hardship of those days, but also speak of the strength of renewed humanity, the indestructibility of the City and life within it.
Actors Emina Muftić and Tarik Džinić, and young guitarist Erol Begić will participate in the program, moderated by Dževdet Tuzlić.
The organizers invite the media and citizens to join in these moments of remembrance and expression of respect for those who lost their lives and their injured families.
Let us cherish the memory together, and not forget the importance of peace and humanity.
Admission is free, and the program starts at 7:00 PM.
