With votes of SDA and DF, Law on Emergency Administration in Nova Željezara Zenica adopted

(Patria) - Although the break in the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to declare itself on the amendments to the Proposal of the Law on the Procedure of Emergency Administration in the company Nova Željezara Zenica d.o.o. Zenica of special systemic importance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was supposed to last 60 minutes, the session continued only two and a half hours later.

Deputy Speaker of the House Azra Okić said that they were waiting for a response from the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which arrived five minutes before the continuation of work.

The SDA caucus submitted ten amendments, and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted two amendments and one partially.

Adnan Efendić, deputy head of the SDA caucus, said that they are seeking the House's declaration on the remaining amendments. The Parliament did not accept any of the seven remaining amendments.

After the vote on the amendments, the deputies voted on the Proposal of the Law, but in the electronic vote there were 41 votes in favor.

Then Adnan Efendić (SDA) and Mahir Mešalić (DF) requested individual declarations.

After the individual declarations, the law was supported by 70 deputies, while three were abstentions.

The law now needs to be adopted in identical form by the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter into force, in order to avoid bankruptcy of Nova Željezara on June 26.
