(Patria) - During yesterday (August 13), the absolute maximum air temperature was surpassed in Zenica within the Federation of BiH.
"An automatic meteorological station measured 42.7 degrees. The previous absolute maximum for Zenica was 42.6 degrees, recorded the day before (August 12, 2024).
Until this month, the absolute maximum for Zenica in August was 41.6 degrees, measured in 2017.
Maximum temperatures at other meteorological stations were very high, but absolute maximums were not surpassed. In Mostar on August 13, 41.5 degrees were measured, in Sarajevo 39.7, Gradačac 39.2, Tuzla and Drvar 39.0, etc.," announced the FHMZ.
