Solemn Academy at City Hall Tonight on BiH Independence Day

(Patria) - To mark March 1st, BiH Independence Day, a joint solemn academy of Sarajevo Canton, the City of Sarajevo, and municipalities from the Sarajevo Canton area will be held tonight at 5:00 PM at Sarajevo City Hall.

The following activities are planned for tomorrow:
• at 8:30 AM - raising of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Hum (delegation of the City of Sarajevo);
• at 9:00 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at Kovači Cemetery;
• at 9:30 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at the Eternal Flame Memorial;
• at 10:00 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at the Memorial to the Children Murdered in Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995;
• at 10:15 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at the Memorial to Police Officers Murdered in Veliki Park - delegation of the City of Sarajevo;
• at 10:30 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at Vraca Memorial Park; and
• at 11:00 AM - paying tribute and laying flowers at Novi Grad Memorial.

Also, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, a diverse musical and entertainment program will be held at the Bosnian Cultural Center, according to the schedule found at this link.
