Most Hajjis from BiH in Mecca: Final preparations for Mina and Arafat underway

(Patria) - Organized by the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 11 planes with Bosnian-Herzegovinian Hajjis have safely arrived in Mecca so far, confirmed the chief guide of the Office for Hajj and Umrah, Izet-ef. Čamdžić.

According to his words, this morning the Hajjis from the 11th plane were welcomed safely, while passengers from the 12th plane are expected this evening, and tomorrow morning, God willing, the last group from the 13th plane.

– With the arrival of the 13th plane, all 2,222 Bosnian-Herzegovinian Hajjis will be accommodated in a hotel in Mecca. All Hajjis are assigned to the same hotel, under equal conditions – added Efendi Čamdžić.

The Hajjis who arrived earlier, some of whom have been in Mecca for seven days, are, thank God, doing well. Those who arrived this morning will perform Umrah today and thus be freed from Ihram restrictions.

Educational lectures and religious preparations for the upcoming rituals at Mina and Arafat are organized daily for the Hajjis in the hotel.

– Our guides and teachers work daily in groups, holding consultations and preparing the faithful to re-enter Ihram restrictions – stated the chief guide.

He added that preparations for the Hajjis' departure to Mina are nearing completion.

– They will head to Mina on Tuesday evening, and on Wednesday evening, God willing, all our Hajjis will head to Arafat – the most important day of Hajj – explained Efendi Čamdžić.

The health condition of the Hajjis is satisfactory.

– There are no major health problems. Only the usual colds have been recorded, which are expected during this period of stay in Mecca – said Efendi Čamdžić.

Finally, he expressed gratitude to God for the course of the Hajj so far and offered a prayer that all Hajj rituals pass in health, peace, and worship.

– Our goal is to return all Hajjis from Bosnia and Herzegovina, having performed Hajj – Hajj Mabrur, home alive and well. So far, everything is going very well. We pray to God that it remains so – he concluded.
