The "Trojka" as a totalitarian clique and the Prime Minister (m)Uka do not care about the citizens' fate, but are eager for Čović's and Dodik's goals

All lies, deceptions, arrogance, and corrupt practices are slowly coming to light due to the persistent refusal of the imposed government to convene an urgent thematic session dedicated to the deteriorated security situation in Sarajevo Canton. At the same time, in our Absurdistan, the same parties are demanding the dismissal of people responsible for security in a completely different canton.

After a series of serious traffic accidents with fatal consequences and frequent shootings, the statement by the invisible cantonal Prime Minister (m)Uka that Sarajevo citizens do not go out at night due to the cold, and not out of fear for their own lives, sounds cynical. The Prime Minister, as the most responsible person governing our lives, has an undeniable talent for disappearing from public view, and when he does appear, he sounds, to put it mildly, not like a serious and responsible public official, but more like a character described by Čola's lyrics "you live in the clouds, my dear, and my voice doesn't reach you...". In this case, the voice of Sarajevo citizens, the families of the victims, does not reach our Prime Minister, nor is he concerned at all about what the citizens think.

Opposition parties, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, requested an urgent thematic session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly. Not because we think one session will solve all the accumulated problems, but so that we, as the highest legislative body, can open some burning issues and encourage the executive power to finally start solving some issues of interest to the citizens of Sarajevo. And the most important issue is the security of our children, ourselves, and our future.

The persistent refusal of the imposed government in Sarajevo to even discuss social problems in a broader political forum shows that this government is not interested in the public interest, but exclusively in the interest of a narrow clientelistic circle of genetically predetermined individuals. No matter what platitudes they publicly spout about equality, transparency, or parliamentary democracy, the current political clique running Sarajevo Canton is most comfortable when they "solve" things at cafe gatherings, in a narrow circle of the chosen, where there is no one to ask logical but sensitive questions. Their zone of political comfort is where they don't have to take away the floor, turn off microphones, hear criticism, or throw elected representatives onto the street.

The summit in Laktaši is not an anomaly, but a model of the "Trojka's" political action, which they consistently apply at all levels of government, including in Sarajevo Canton. It is typically totalitarian to advocate and propagate one thing publicly, and do something completely different secretly behind the scenes. If we remember, in the same way, one of the greatest Bosnians and Herzegovinians in the modern political history of our country - Bogić Bogičević - was once tricked in a petty manner, and today, prof. dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović is in the same petty interest mill. Sometimes they accidentally let slip a truth in public, like that they will solve the problems of public broadcasters, but only after they control them through their trusted people. Then they justify their statements as slips of the tongue, as if they don't know what they are talking about, while at the same time consciously and maliciously using the judiciary to pressure journalists and media outlets that dare to write about their affairs.

One of the most expensive infrastructure projects in Sarajevo Canton, the renovation of the tram line, is proceeding in the same way. The fact is that no one has insight into the contracts with the Chinese contractors. The fact is that the majority in the assembly recently adopted a new loan of 35 million euros, and it is unclear to anyone under what credit conditions, nor for what jobs!?

Another thing that is not being discussed is that the reconstructed track has been put into operation without a technical inspection ever being carried out, which is a legal obligation. The track as such represents a potential security risk for all traffic participants, as well as for its users - the citizens of Sarajevo. Likewise, non-compliance with legal procedures represents a potential legal and financial risk because the amateur management of the process has opened the door for lawsuits against Sarajevo Canton and claims for damages for any future incident related to the track.

From people who do not understand even basic procedural rules, let alone laws or constitutional issues, do not expect them to seriously deal with legal matters and the consequences of these omissions. Given how this imposed government has functioned so far, it seems we will have to wait for someone to lose their life tragically for these issues to be resolved. The worst part of all is that the government is so arrogant that it doesn't even want to discuss these matters, because it is simply more important for them to protect the appointed individuals from responsibility and public scrutiny than to solve the problems that make the lives of Sarajevo citizens unbearable.

Perhaps if it concerned citizens from Široki, Laktaši, some son-in-law or relative of a reformed and European coalition partner, I believe they would show a greater degree of concern, empathy, and agility in solving problems. And I highly doubt that in these cases, the cantonal prime minister would make such cynical, almost Grunf-like statements.

All that the citizens of Sarajevo want from the cantonal authorities is for them to care about them and fight for them with the same zeal with which they care for and fight for the well-being of the genetically predetermined judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH, Vukoja, or the eternal director of BHANSA, Čović's son-in-law, Primorac. Perhaps their legitimate angel, with the help of the OHR, has assigned them their positions, but let them not forget that the citizens of Sarajevo trusted their word.
