Three years since the murder of Almir Raščić, killer still at large

(Patria) - Exactly three years have passed since the murder of Almir Raščić from Goražde, a former footballer and sports worker.

Family, friends, and numerous Goražde residents are still waiting for the killer to be brought to justice.

The Prosecutor's Office of BPK Goražde points out that they cannot provide information on this case, noting that the investigation is still ongoing.

Let us recall, an unknown person on that fateful January 13, 2023, around 10 PM, shot Raščić as he was moving towards a parked car through the passage of the building where he lived.

Raščić died ten days later from severe head injuries at the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo (KCUS).

Even after expert examinations, polygraph tests, and interrogations, this serious criminal offense has never been solved.

Raščić is a former footballer for Željezničar, Velež, Olimpik, Goražde, and Azot from Vitkovići.
