Bodies of four migrants recovered from Drina after a boat carrying about 30 people capsized

(Patria) - The bodies of four migrants were found in the Drina River near Bratunac, where a boat carrying about thirty migrants capsized early this morning, confirmed Boris Trninić, director of the RS Civil Protection Administration, RTRS reports.

- According to unofficial information, there were approximately 30 migrants in the boat, of whom 15 reached the shore - Trninić said.

Trninić added that fire and rescue units from Bratunac, and a team from the Civil Protection Administration for water rescue, were deployed.

The Zvornik Police Administration told Srna that the police apprehended 14 migrants identified as being from Morocco, who were smuggled in one of the boats along the Drina near Bratunac, while another boat capsized.

A team from the Civil Protection Administration for water rescue is continuing the search with two boats and crews.
