All pilgrims have arrived in Mecca: In good health and ready for Hajj rituals

(Patria) - The last group of Bosnian-Herzegovinian pilgrims arrived in Mecca this morning, concluding the arrival process for all registered pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Currently, a total of 2,222 pilgrims are accommodated in the hotel in Mecca, performing the Hajj this year under the organization of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As the chief guide of the Hajj and Umrah Office of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Izet-ef. Čamdžić, stated for MINA Agency, all groups of pilgrims arrived without difficulties and are in good health.

– Our pilgrims have arrived in Mecca safely and without problems. I especially want to emphasize that we are extremely satisfied with the cooperation with this year's air carrier "Flynas", which professionally carried out all flights. Apart from one minor delay, everything went according to plan, which deserves all praise in such demanding conditions – Čamdžić pointed out.

Pilgrims who arrived yesterday have already performed the Umrah ritual, while those who arrived this morning will do so during the day, after which they will be released from ihram prohibitions.

Pilgrims who decided to spend the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah in Mina will be transported to that location tonight around 10:00 PM local time, where they will begin their worship in accordance with Sharia regulations.

– Tomorrow evening, June 4th, all our pilgrims will head to Arafat to, God willing, perform the most important Hajj ritual on Thursday, June 5th – the stay in Arafat. That is, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "the very peak of Hajj" – Čamdžić added.

After Arafat, the stay in Muzdalifah, stoning the jamarat, and the Eid days follow. All these rituals, as planned, will take place with the full support of guides, medical, and logistical teams.

– The most important thing is that our pilgrims are well, healthy, ready, and motivated to complete everything that lies ahead of them. This makes us extremely happy, and we pray to Almighty God to return them to their homes with a successfully performed Hajj – said Izet-ef. Čamdžić.
