All pilgrims from Mecca have arrived in Medina, no transport delays towards home country

(Patria) - For the first time in the history of the Hajj and Umrah Office of the Islamic Community in BiH, it happened that on one day, some of our pilgrims are in their homeland, some in Mecca and Medina, and a certain number of pilgrims are on the journey from Mecca to Medina by bus or plane towards BiH.

- As of today, we have concluded another phase of this blessed Hajj journey. In the afternoon, the last group of our pilgrims from Mecca arrived in Medina, and everything went smoothly - stated Sadžid-ef. Ramić, an expert associate at the Hajj and Umrah Office.

According to him, only one female pilgrim remained in Mecca due to the need for hospital treatment, along with her husband.

- The Office has provided them with accommodation. In cooperation with the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are monitoring her condition, and in accordance with what the doctors in the hospital in Mecca tell us, we will act accordingly regarding their further treatment and transport - says Ramić.

The groups of our pilgrims who arrived from Mecca yesterday and today will visit the sights of Medina in the coming days, namely Uhud, the Qiblatayn and Quba mosques, and most importantly, the tomb of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Sacred Garden, an area that the Prophet said was a garden of paradise on earth.

- These visits will also conclude the ritual part in Medina. Through meetings with the pilgrims, they expressed their satisfaction with the journey so far, i.e., the organization, accommodation, and food, and everything that is implied.

After that, it remains for us to transport all pilgrims to their homeland by July 1st, with two planes per day - points out Ramić.

Ramić assessed this year's organization of the Hajj, where pilgrims first stay in Mecca and then in Medina, as successful.

- We can say that this experience of traveling for Hajj from BiH, according to current indicators, has proven successful in terms of health, organization, technical aspects, and worship.

Pilgrims came for worship. In this way, they can perform the Hajj rituals completely, relatively rested and healthy, because they were not exhausted before the Hajj itself.

- The most reliable confirmation is the statement of the pilgrims themselves, who have only words of praise for this way of organizing the Hajj journey - adds Ramić.

We remind you that tonight around 11:30 PM, the third plane with our pilgrims is expected to land at Sarajevo airport, and the pilgrims' preparations for tomorrow's flight at 7:05 AM from Medina are already underway.
