(Patria) - The chief guide of the Office for Hajj and Umrah of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Izet-ef. Čamdžić, confirmed that all pilgrims from our country are well and have all performed the Hajj.
– After yesterday's Arafat day and a sleepless night last night, yesterday's vigil on Arafat, the standing on Arafat, was extremely demanding. The great, extreme heat made staying on Arafat difficult, although the hosts, the Saudi authorities, tried their best to make our stay as simple and easy as possible. Our pilgrims walked from Muzdelifah to Mina last night, and they mostly finished their walk and stoning on Mina around the dawn prayer, and all of them, thank God, arrived at the hotel without any problems. Therefore, we can conclude, given that the Prophet said that "Hajj is Arafat", that all our pilgrims have performed the Hajj – said Čamdžić.
He added that one group of our pilgrims, 470 of them, returned to Mina after stoning, to their tents, where they will stay until the day after tomorrow, when they will also return to the hotel.
– Today, on this Eid day, pilgrims are mostly resting. The Eid atmosphere here is, I would say, a noun of contemplation. It is unlikely that we will see any of our pilgrims before noon, or before Friday prayer, due to exhaustion and fatigue. Mostly everyone is resting, but the most important thing is that everyone has performed the Hajj and that everyone is well, and that the only thing that can question the mood of our pilgrims in any way is fatigue. But I want to say that for our pilgrims, it is a sweet fatigue, because they have done a deed, fulfilled God's command, which, God willing, absolves them of sins, and which is a deed for which there is no reward other than Paradise – emphasized Čamdžić.
The head of the Office for Hajj and Umrah, Dževad-ef. Hadžić, assessed that the entire organization of the Hajj, from beginning to end, functioned flawlessly.
– So, from the transportation of our pilgrims from their places, from their mufti seats to Sarajevo, the organization went without a single mistake, without any problems, to the organization and transportation of pilgrims from the Fahd Mosque to the airport, boarding the planes, arrival and reception of our pilgrims at the airport in Jeddah, where our team met every single pilgrim and accommodated them on buses that brought them to the hotel in Mecca – said Hadžić.
He reminded that the pilgrims then performed Umrah and then awaited the arrival of the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, when the guides took their pilgrims to Arafat, and some of them went to Mina.
– Everyone stayed in Arafat, and our people who were in Mina joined the other pilgrims, so we spent a wonderful day in Arafat where we were accommodated in very high-quality tents, where we had all possible equipment. So, from refreshments to accommodation in tents, very modern, very modern, air-conditioned, where we had three meals. So, really, our pilgrims had nothing to complain about and everyone is visibly satisfied with what we provided them – he added.
On Arafat, as Hadžić assessed, a quality religious program was held where about ten hafizes recited the Quran and performed ilahijas.
– Sermons were given by Izet-efendi Čamdžić and the deputy reisul-ulema prof. dr. Enes Ljevaković, who is also the reisul-hujjaj this year. So, a very high-quality program was held, and the pilgrims spent a wonderful day in Arafat. At six o'clock in the afternoon, we recited the Arafat supplication, which was recited by dr. Ljevaković – stated Hadžić.
He once again expressed satisfaction with the activities and organization so far, and explained that the remaining Hajj rituals will also pass successfully.
– We still have to take all our pilgrims to the Jamarat twice, for stoning, and today the program includes all pilgrims going to the courtyard of the Kaaba, where they will perform Tawaf and Sa'i, thus completing the Hajj rituals – said Hadžić.
He also added that the guides did an excellent job and that the pilgrims are very satisfied with their engagement.
– Likewise, I want to praise the team of doctors and medical technicians who provided excellent services to our pilgrims. No case ended up in the hospital, everything they treated, they provided medical service successfully, and I can say that the condition of the pilgrims, both health-wise and in every other way, is very good, we have no problems. We continue to perform the remaining rituals, and then the transfer of all our pilgrims to Medina will follow, where we will stay for five days. After that, on the 16th of this month, God willing, the return to the homeland will begin – explained Hadžić.
