SPS: 205 illegal migrants removed from BiH to countries of origin in five months

(Patria) - The Service for Foreigners' Affairs, in line with its responsibilities, continues with enhanced control activities of migrants in the areas of entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in temporary reception centers in BiH.

In cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, special attention is paid to migrants with a criminal background, in order to prevent them from committing criminal offenses and organizing them.

As a result of the aforementioned activities, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs carried out removals to the country of origin. One person, accompanied by several security officers, was removed by air from the territory of BiH to Morocco, while procedures for the removal of a certain number of individuals are being prepared in cooperation with other agencies and representatives of countries of origin.

In the last five months, over 205 illegal migrants have been removed from the territory of BiH to their countries of origin.
