Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Headquarters Moves from Centar to Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality

(Patria) - The Mayor of Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality, Semir Efendić, held a meeting today with representatives of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank BiH, Michele Costoro, Chairman of the Management Board, and Nedim Pinjo, Head of the ESG Department. The meeting was also attended by the Assistant Mayor for Economy and Local Economic Development, Emir Dedović.

The meeting discussed plans to expand cooperation in the areas of economic and business development, as well as plans to relocate the Bank's headquarters from the Centar municipality to the Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality.

Readiness for cooperation was expressed, primarily in the areas of business development, i.e., the economy in the municipality, regarding models that could be developed in the future to mutual satisfaction with a focus on the economy, business, and youth, as well as possible bank support for the construction of new infrastructure facilities.

Also, during the meeting, experiences in the field of business operations and development were exchanged, and the financial needs of the Municipality were discussed, as well as possibilities for cooperation in the ESG field, a new area within the banking sector related to the bank's socially responsible operations in the field of environmental protection.

We are also pleased that our main branch, the bank's headquarters, is moving from the Centar municipality to Novi Grad. Intesa Sanpaolo Bank has 43 branches in Bosnia and Herzegovina, three branches operate in the Novi Grad municipality, and now the bank's headquarters will be in the Novi Grad municipality," said Nedim Pinjo.
