SBiH supports Komšić and Bećirović for submitting the Law on State Property of BiH to procedure

(Patria) - The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina gives full support to members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, for submitting the Law on State Property of BiH to procedure.

The Party for BiH has insisted for more than 20 years that the issue of state property is among the most important priorities in BiH, and that special attention must be devoted to it. The Constitution of BiH, as well as the adopted rulings, are clear on this matter: state property is exclusively the ownership of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there must be no discussion about it.

What needs to be regulated is its use. State property on the entire territory of BiH is the property of all its citizens and also a resource that can contribute to the accelerated development of the entire country. Only the institutions of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to established procedures, can dispose of its property.

Furthermore, the position of the Party for BiH is that the adoption of the Proposal for the state law on natural gas transport, the regulator, and the internal market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, submitted by Denis Bećirović, a member of the BiH Presidency, legally regulates the natural gas sector in a comprehensive manner in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Gas Law is significant for both entities and is based on the provisions of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, obligations undertaken towards the EU and the Energy Community, with the aim of establishing clear rules in the natural gas sector and developing the market and competition in accordance with the current EU energy packages.
