(Patria) - The intersection at Čengić Vila has been renovated and is officially fully open for all vehicles starting today.
After almost two years, the mentioned intersection ceases to be a temporary stop and turning point for buses. The Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta, thanked the citizens for their patience and understanding during the period when the intersection served as a turning point, while the second section of the new tram line was being reconstructed.
"I express sincere gratitude to the citizens who consciously used alternative routes and other intersections, so that the intersection at Čengić Vila would be safe for all public transport users who transferred at this location," said Minister Šteta.
Buses replacing trams will continue to run from Nedžarići to Baščaršija; their turning point will no longer be at Čengić Vila.
