Protests by Seven Unions in front of the KS Government at 2 PM: Demanding a Base Salary of 425 KM

(Patria) - By order of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, the "Warning" episode for the KS area has been abolished, as well as the intervention measures that were in force.

Due to the change in weather and wind during the night, there has been a drastic drop in PM10 particle concentrations. At the cantonal measuring stations, the measured values of this pollutant at 09:00 AM were up to 20 micrograms per cubic meter.

With favorable weather conditions, announced for the next two days, which will contribute to clean air, the conditions for lifting the intervention measures have been met.

The Coordination of Seven Unions has called on workers to come out to protests today and clearly, loudly, and publicly express their dissatisfaction with the work and attitude of the Sarajevo Canton Government, especially regarding:

- an increase in salaries for all workers in cantonal public institutions and administrative bodies (base salary), communal economy, and healthcare,
- payment of a one-time bonus to all workers equally according to the Government's Decree,
- problems in the normal functioning of management and leadership of communal companies and healthcare institutions, especially KCUS,
- poor reforms and excessive administration in education, and
- other problems that endanger the rights of workers in cantonal public institutions and companies and the working conditions therein.

Let's take to the streets, let them hear us, the Union Coordination states.
