(Patria) - Entrepreneurs have announced large protests in Sarajevo for Wednesday (January 22) in front of the FBiH Government building, following the Government's decision to increase the minimum wage for 2025 from 619 KM to 1,000 KM.
These are entrepreneurs who have organized themselves into the Viber group “Entrepreneurs of the Federation”, which has more than 8,000 members.
In this group, they have repeatedly pointed out what they say are the long-term harmful consequences that this decision to increase the minimum wage will have on economic and business growth in the FBiH, and in the country in general.
As they further stated, they consider the increase in the minimum wage a direct blow to the economy of the FBiH and a benefit to the other BiH entity, emphasizing that this decision followed the ban on smoking in public places and the non-working Sunday.
The protests will be held on Wednesday at 11:55, symbolically, given that entrepreneurs point out that it is five to twelve for them and they can no longer wait.
