Searches in Bihać and Velika Kladuša due to accepting gifts and influence peddling, disputed employments

(Patria) - Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of USK, by order of the competent Municipal Court, are conducting searches at several locations in the areas of Bihać and Velika Kladuša, with the aim of finding items that can be linked to the commission of the criminal offense of "Accepting Gifts or Other Forms of Benefit for Influence Peddling". According to unofficial information, the premises of the Government of USK are also being searched, specifically the offices of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Una-Sana Canton, Denis Osmankić, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, Adnan Habibija. Both are SDP BiH cadres.

Due to the protection of interests and the secrecy of the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office is currently unable to provide more detailed information.

According to the information available so far, certain employments in the MUP USK as well as in the Ministry of Education are disputed.
