Police in Vogošća arrested an Afghan citizen, found with a pistol and ammunition

(Patria) - Police officers from the Criminal Police Sector in the Vogošća municipality arrested S.K.B., born in 2002, an Afghan citizen, on suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Article 74 of the Law on Public Order and Peace of Sarajevo Canton.

"During the search, a pistol with a magazine and ammunition was found and seized from him. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and the 22-year-old was handed over to the detention facility for detained persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, the suspect will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office along with a report on the committed criminal offense," the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate announced.
