Police Search Offices of the Ministry of Higher Education in the Government of Canton Sarajevo, How Mesihović Employed a Party Colleague

(Patria) - Police officers from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Canton Sarajevo are conducting searches of residential buildings and offices of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Canton Sarajevo in the Government building of Canton Sarajevo.

In front of the Government building of Canton Sarajevo, there are three police vans, and under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Canton Sarajevo on suspicion of illegal employment are Minister Adna Mesihović and her assistant Dženita Viteškić.

The Patria News Agency has repeatedly written about Minister Mesihović and favoritism towards party colleagues. Thus, in November 2023, she engaged Arijana Turković under a service contract, who was ranked first in the competition conducted at the beginning of this year. The last service contract available in the Register of Service Contracts of the Office for the Fight against Corruption is for March 2025. A monthly amount of 1,500 KM was paid. Incidentally, Minister Mesihović engaged several persons under service contracts.

The commission that conducted the competition included Dženita Viteškić, and all three come from the movement For New Generations, founded by Damir Marjanović, the current representative in the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo.
