'Neum Summer 2025' Begins: Visitors Can Expect a Rich and Diverse Programme

(Patria) - The cultural-entertainment event "Neum Summer 2025", organized by the Tourist Board and the Municipality of Neum, will be ceremonially opened today at the Poštari plateau, lasting until September 6.

As every year, the event will offer numerous interesting contents for all tastes and generations, from concerts by famous musicians, sports tournaments, gastronomic gatherings...

The residents of Neum and their guests will be ushered into "Neum Summer 2025" by the renowned Croatian guitarist, composer and arranger Ante Gelo and his band.

The programme begins at 19:00, with the ceremonial opening scheduled for 19:30.

- This year, the Tourist Board of Neum is also involved in the organization of "Neum Summer 2025". Our association "Kron" has been here for a long time, promoting culture in the best possible way. They are the driving force of the organization and add extra charm to our town.

This year they are involved in organizing concerts, and we are here to help them in every way so that people who come to Neum can rest and enjoy the sea, but also have interesting cultural and musical events - says Neum Mayor Dragan Jurković.



Director of the Neum Tourist Board Nikola Prkačin emphasizes that the programme of "Neum Summer" will be rich and announces contents that guests of the only Bosnian-Herzegovinian town on the sea will enjoy.

Concerts are planned by "Daleka obala" (July 18) and "Galija" (August 2), held on the beach of Hotel "Stella", and "Tajna veza" (August 13) at the Poštari plateau.

- We start with a ceremonial opening, where Neum's restaurateurs and hoteliers will present an offer of local specialties. We continue with a musical programme, featuring the famous Croatian musician Ante Gelo and his backing band.

Throughout the season we have organized concerts, gastronomic events and sports events, all until September 6. The project is led by the Town of Neum and the Tourist Organization of Neum. We have been supported by Neum's restaurateurs, BH Pošta, as well as the relevant ministries from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We also thank Đemila Talić Gabriel, who supported the "Neum Summer" project again this year. As for sports, a children's football tournament was held, with over 600 children from BiH and the region participating.

We will also have the Memorial Water Polo Tournament "Ivica Bačić", held at the swimming area in the center of Neum. There are also cycling events and various futsal tournaments - Prkačin revealed.
