Network X down: Thousands of users report access problems

(Patria) - Social network X, formerly known as Twitter, is currently experiencing a major global outage, as users report difficulties accessing the website, mobile app, and login page.

According to data from the Downdetector website, more than 11,800 users have reported problems since the issues began around 1:00 PM local time.

The outage is affecting users worldwide, who report that when trying to load new posts (formerly known as tweets), they see the message: "Something went wrong. Try reloading."

The organization NetBlocks, which monitors internet activity, confirmed that the outage is not caused by internet filtering or disruptions in any specific country.

Elon Musk, who purchased the platform in 2022 for $44 billion, has not yet officially commented on the cause of the current outage.
