SBiH Novi Grad Municipal Council: NIP pursues a destructive policy

(Patria) - The SBiH Novi Grad Municipal Council has responded to a statement by NIP Novi Grad, which leveled accusations against SBiH and SDA over the failure to elect the Chairman of the Municipal Council and city councilors.

"The political organization NiP Novi Grad, through its actions, clearly demonstrates a commitment to a destructive policy that only hinders the work and progress of the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.

Their accusations and attempts to destabilize the formation of the Novi Grad Municipal Council, as well as the constant politicization of every step taken by Mayor Semir Efendić, bring no concrete benefits to the community.

While NiP and their partner parties accuse others of blockades, SBiH Novi Grad, together with the parties of the political platform agreed upon at the level of cantonal organizations, remain focused on forming a quality leadership of the Municipal Council for the long-term development of the municipality.

Parties such as People and Justice (NiP), the SDP, and Our Party, although in previous terms they held positions of power in the Novi Grad Municipal Council, failed to meet the expectations of citizens and provide the necessary stability and progress. Their political tactics often boiled down to populism.

The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina Novi Grad bases its policy of action not only with SDA and DF but also with all other political entities that want a prosperous policy for the municipality of Novi Grad, regardless of the attempts at political destabilization coming from the parties of the Troika.

Mayor Efendić, as a leader who recognized the need for an inclusive approach and cooperation, continues to demonstrate the ability to lead the municipality through challenging situations. The ability to gather well-intentioned political actors and make key decisions, even in moments of disagreement, indicates his dedication to municipal development and the interests of citizens.

In the coming period, with a stable political framework and new challenges to be overcome, the Novi Grad Municipal Council under Efendić's leadership will continue to work on modernization, infrastructure development, and improving living conditions for all residents of Novi Grad.

However, the imposed Troika led by NiP Novi Grad Sarajevo, instead of engaging in work and contributing to positive changes, persistently opposes and attempts to block every effort aimed at the progress of Novi Grad.

Mayor Semir Efendić, with the support of the Novi Grad Municipal Council, remains committed to improving the lives of citizens and developing the local community. During his term, Efendić has always been focused on responsible management and stability, creating conditions for the growth and development of the municipality.

The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a key partner in government, plays a significant role in creating a stable political framework and stands out for its ability to gather different political actors on the principles of cooperation and responsibility.
