Okerić: Bečarević will not remain minister due to the policies of the Party for BiH president Semir Efendić

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Assembly will consider the resignation of Prime Minister Nihad Uk and thus the entire KS Government on Wednesday, October 25. The opposition has already announced a heated session, and everything could end up at the Constitutional Court of FBiH.

The goal of this reconstruction is to remove the Party for BiH from power, specifically two ministers from this party from the Sarajevo Canton Government. These are Almir Bečarević (Ministry of Communal Affairs) and Emir Dedović (Ministry of Finance).

The Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, Elvedin Okerić, said at today's press conference that the opposition in the Sarajevo Canton consists of SDA and DF, and recently SBiH has joined them.

"Minister Bečarević is truly not worth commenting on. He is obviously sorry about his chair and is frantically making statements, slandering, spitting, and criticizing only to remain in that position. The majority in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly is determined that Mr. Bečarević will not remain in that position due to the policies of his Party for BiH president Semir Efendić, who attempted a political assassination of the 'trojka' at the federal level. It was natural, with the continuation of obstructions in KS, that the majority gathered around the 'trojka' did everything to carry out a reconstruction and appoint a new KS Government. The new Government will consist of old/new ministers in the KS Government," said Okerić.

Incidentally, the new KS Government will not include Minister Haris Vranić or Pavle Krstić, but Okerić did not speak about this today. The sole objective was to dismiss the Party for BiH cadres, and the other ministers are collateral damage, as is the case with Krstić. Due to the wishes of the new coalition partner Damir Marjanović, who wants the higher education portfolio, Krstić will no longer be part of the KS Government, and Our Party will provide a candidate for the communal affairs portfolio.

If the dismissal of the KS Government, i.e., Uk's resignation, is voted on tomorrow, Okerić expects to receive the name of the mandatary and the proposal of ministers within the next 20 days.
