(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, on May 4, ordered one-month detention for Tarik Prusac, suspected of murdering his ex-wife.
In the investigation against suspect Tarik Prusac, due to well-founded suspicion that the criminal offense of Aggravated Murder of a Female Person under Article 166a paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH has been committed, based on the provisions of Article 146, paragraph 1, points c) and d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Federation of BiH, in connection with the provisions of Article 145, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Federation of BiH, it issued a decision approving the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton to order detention for the suspect.
Detention under this decision may last for one month, starting from May 1, 2026, or until another court decision.
An appeal against this decision does not postpone its execution.
