Certain parties montaged original Hayat video, then misused it

(Patria) - A debate is currently ongoing in public, especially on social networks, following the appearance of Reuf Bajrović, Vice President of the American-European Alliance, on Hayat's program, the show "7Plus".

The debate, including statements from a number of parties, was sparked by a montaged video clip posted on the social network X. The video was created by montaging, i.e., re-editing and editing the original video recording, by adding a sequence from a previous part to one video segment. In this way, a context was created or fabricated that differs from the original recording.

Thus, the video circulating on social networks was created by reworking the original recording, without Hayat's consent.

It is quite clear that Hayat does not support any form of hate speech or discrimination directed against anyone on any basis. At the same time, it is important that the media have freedom guaranteed by domestic and international legislation and codes. Analysts in democratically organized societies must be free to express their critical views.

Without intending to deepen the debate, and especially to have hate speech present in it, we are publishing the original sequence from the show "7Plus" that was used to fabricate a different context.

In the re-edited part of Bajrović's appearance, which the mentioned political parties misused and 'attacked' the analyst, the part from the show looked, according to them, LIKE THIS.

Bajrović immediately denied these allegations, announcing lawsuits for defamation.

The regime's witch hunt continues through fabrication and slander. So, this is turning into open incitement and endangering my personal safety – stated Bajrović, among other things.
