(Patria) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nenad Nešić will hold an extraordinary press conference on Thursday, and the Ministry announced that Nešić will present information from security agencies about the stay of Christian Schmidt in BiH.
Namely, after pressure from the political leadership of Republika Srpska, and with the takeover of certain institutions and the appointment of personnel close to SNSD to leading positions, some security agencies have been conducting checks on the stay of the High Representative in BiH, as well as his security.
One such agency is the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, headed by Žarko Laketa, as well as the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), headed by Darko Ćulum. It was Ćulum who led the "investigation" related to the stay of the High Representative in BiH.
The OHR has not commented on these checks. However, it will be clearer in the coming days whether certain processes will be initiated after Nešić's information.
We remind you that SIPA confirmed to Patria on September 26 that they are conducting checks regarding the diplomatic status of the High Representative, but without specifying what exactly they are checking and on whose orders.
Interestingly, the parties of the 'trojka' (the three parties forming the government coalition) have not commented on these unilateral moves by the authorities of Republika Srpska and the abuse of state institutions for the political interests of SNSD.
