NO BUDGET, NO WORK: Employees of BiH Institutions to Protest on November 27

(Patria) - On November 5, 2025, a meeting of union representatives of employees in institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held, attended by Mario Krajinović, President of the Union of Police Bodies, Ana Mrnjavac, President of the Union of the Indirect Taxation Authority, Radenko Mirković, President of the Union of Civil Servants and Employees in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of unions that make up the Union of Police Bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Matović, President of the Union of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Salan Haris, President of the Union of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, and Edin Kahrimanović, President of the Union of SIPA.

The meeting discussed further union activities, given that the first demand set at the meeting held on October 6, namely the adoption of the Budget of Institutions by October 30, 2025, has not been fulfilled.

During the meeting, after a brief discussion, a conclusion was unanimously adopted to begin organizing a protest, which will be held on November 27, 2025, from 12:05 to 13:05 hours, in front of the building of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Trg Bosne i Hercegovine number 1.

The organizers of the protest are the Union of the Indirect Taxation Authority, the Union of Civil Servants and Employees, and the Union of Police Bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and they will, with the aim of obtaining approval from the competent Police Administration, undertake activities prescribed by the Law on Public Gatherings in the Sarajevo Canton in the coming period.

In this regard, union representatives invite all employees in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend the scheduled protest and to comply with the provisions of the Law on Public Gatherings in the Sarajevo Canton and the instructions of the organizers and stewards.
