
(Patria) - Investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, by order of the acting prosecutor and by order of the Court of BiH, coordinated the exhumation process on unmarked plots at the location of the Lukavac City Cemetery.
Almost complete remains of two persons were found at the site, which have been sent for further forensic examination and identification of missing persons through DNA analysis, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
According to preliminary available data and information, these are persons of Serb nationality missing in the mentioned area.
The exhumation process involved a forensic doctor-pathologist, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, necessary workers and machinery, as well as police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton, who secured the location and provided forensic technical support in the exhumation process.
