Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton to support the establishment of 91 start-up business entities

(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton today adopted decisions on the selection of beneficiaries of incentive funds for the programs “Support for youth to start start-up business entities” and “Support for starting start-up business entities for the population category aged 36-55 years”.

After the conclusion of public calls, to which 152 applicants applied, the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton will this year support the establishment of 91 business entities.

“The total funds made available to them amount to slightly less than two million KM. What is important is that the selected beneficiaries under these decisions remain the same as the beneficiaries selected under the preliminary lists,” emphasized Minister of Economy Zlatko Mijatović.

Given the specificity of these programs, he called on the selected beneficiaries to start preparing the necessary documentation in order to create the possibility of concluding contracts as soon as possible.

The deadline for submitting the documentation required for concluding contracts is December 10, 2023.

The decisions will be published in the coming period on the website of the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton.
