Kukuruz: American and European policy towards BiH is deeply wrong and hypocritical

(Patria) - The first, but also necessary step in reaching European legal standards in BiH is distancing from the international policy that created the Dayton Peace Agreement, which grossly violates and denies those standards, believes legal expert Sifet Kukuruz.

All judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, Kukuruz emphasizes, are necessarily also judgments against the creators of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the policies they represented, and ultimately the Agreement itself.

"The European Court of Human Rights also judges the policies that created the solutions contained in the BiH Constitution. The international community today hypocritically demands only from domestic politicians to correct what was, in essence, created by international policy.

By creating the BiH Constitution as it is, international policy, primarily American and European, knowingly violated the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, while completely hypocritically placing the entire burden of responsibility solely on domestic politicians.

It is the same as if a doctor blamed a patient for the deterioration of his health even though the patient only used the medications and applied the therapy prescribed by the doctor himself.

If they acted in accordance with international law, international officials would admit that the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights actually judge them and their policies first and foremost, and would do everything to remove the harmful consequences of their actions and reduce their own responsibility.

But, just as in 1992 human rights and freedoms were not important to international policy, so it is today, in 2023, when international policy openly shows that only the natural and other riches of this country matter to it.

Human rights and freedoms remain only 'entertainment for the general public.' This shows that imperialism is a constant of international policy," Kukuruz stated.
