Kovačević: Our response will be clear and radical, no one should doubt that

(Patria) - Judge Sena Uzunović has the opportunity to come out clean, because the person who ordered the verdict, former US Ambassador Michael Murphy, has left BiH forever.

This was stated by delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament Radovan Kovačević (SNSD), commenting on the proceedings against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and acting director of "Službeni glasnik" Miloš Lučić before the Court of BiH.

Kovačević says that Judge Uzunović has a great chance to preserve the constitutional order, law, and justice.

- This political persecution is an attack on the Constitution and the constitutional order. When you prosecute someone for acting according to the Constitution, then it is clear that you are prosecuting Republika Srpska and all its citizens.

They are prosecuting our right to elect. Then it means that we have no rights. The president of Republika Srpska is being prosecuted for doing what the Constitution obliges him to do. Republika Srpska has an answer to all of this - says Kovačević.

He adds that the response will be clear and radical, and that no one should doubt it.

- Republika Srpska will have a clear response that will be radical. We previously said that there is an option A and B, and the second one is radical. This is about prosecuting the president of Republika Srpska because he fulfilled obligations that the Constitution mandates.

According to the Constitution of Republika Srpska, he expresses the state unity of Republika Srpska. When you prosecute someone who expresses state unity, solely for doing something that the Constitution obliges him to do, then it is clear that you are prosecuting all citizens.

Our response is the Constitution, the Dayton Agreement, and a return to the constitutional order - Kovačević told RTRs, adding that the goal of this process is the abolition of Republika Srpska.
