Kovačević and Serbian delegation leave BiH institutions meeting over Kosovo

(Patria) - During the first day of the regular annual meeting of representatives of defense and security committees of parliaments of Southeast European countries in Sarajevo, the Serbian delegation and the Deputy Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of the BiH Parliament, Radovan Kovačević, left the conference today and interrupted the speeches of Kosovo representatives.

This was announced by a member of the Kosovo delegation, Arber A. Rexhaj, on his Facebook account, reports RSE. He wrote that his country's delegation "faced Serbian thugs".

"Together with MP Erdžan Galuši, we are participating in this forum. Serbia tried again to interrupt our speeches by banging their fists on the tables, turning off our microphones, like real thugs. But still, they couldn't and never will," Rexhaj wrote.

He thanked "the representatives of Albania and Croatia who stood up to them".

"I said that Kosovo is an internationally recognized state, as proven by the International Court of Justice. Also, the attack in Banjska in Kosovo proves that Serbia has not changed, that it is like Milošević's," he wrote.

The Srna news agency reported that the Serbian delegation, with Kovačević, a member of Dodik's SNSD, left the conference because "Croatian delegation member Zdravka Bušić said that Kosovo will be admitted to the Council of Europe".
