Konaković announced a crackdown on crime, while his appointees only 'clean out budgets': There will be justice for Okerić, inshallah!

Attack is the best defense, politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina learned this long ago, and as a rule, after dishonorable and criminal acts, as well as immoral ones, are uncovered, journalists are to blame, not the actors of the affair!

Thus, today Elvedin Okerić, Chairman of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, called a press conference where he least answered journalists' questions and mostly tried to justify the suspicious allocation of funds from Sarajevo Canton for associations in Srebrenica, which were founded and are run by members of the People and Justice party. In that, of course, there is the least amount of people, and even less justice!

Hiding behind faith, not knowing whether he is a politician or a hajji (and this is a person who curses journalists with prayers), the once young politician who, in the middle of a live program, asked 'can we repeat this,' has 'matured' in the spirit of NiP.

And just like the leader Elmedin Konaković (who has clashed with journalists multiple times), he attacked Avdo Avdić, calling him a slanderer and a convicted slanderer!? The accusations against journalist Avdić came out of helplessness, because he simply could not answer a simple question – if he had nothing to do with the contract award, but his cabinet did, why was he present at the contract signing and in what capacity!

But the once modest and very hardworking man, as NiP members described Okerić, did not learn that silence is golden; instead, he tried to hide the facts with noise in the cheapest way, reducing his justification to two claims – 'it wasn't me, but my cabinet' and 'here, other associations are also connected to parties, Our Party, SDP...'

Earlier, Okerić would also say that 'a lie remains just a lie and nothing more.' And that is exactly what today's press conference was. Because lies have short legs. That is precisely why Okerić got caught in the web of his own lies, and having no way to answer questions, he attacks journalists, because they obviously are not allowed to do their job, but should either applaud injustice and crime or 'turn to the economy' as the authorities see fit, or deal with the 'crime' of SDA, SBiH, DF, NES...

Because the defense 'my cabinet did it, not me' is not only an insult to the intellect of the journalists present, but to the entire public, which does not need to read a decree to understand that a cabinet does nothing without the chairman's order, as that could ultimately be subject to disciplinary responsibility.

As NiP likes to raise everything to a higher, 'original' level, and that intelligence one, Okerić also placed investigative journalists in a UDBA context in this story.

„Troublemakers and an unconstructive opposition, lacking a vision of how to be a useful part of society, continue with UDBA methods, spitting and smearing individuals, mixing a little truth and many, many lies. For honor and reputation, there is no calculator that will convince me it is not worth fighting and telling the truth. Thank them for donating their good deeds,“ Okerić said.

The truth is that in the struggle for power, the People and Justice party announced 'we are coming' and 'we will clean you out for crime.' Today, when appointees of that party become faces on the front pages, help is sought in the story 'others are to blame' and 'others were taking,' 'we know' and the like. This is inevitably followed by the party president himself, who likes to appear on screens and tell us how arrests are coming for telecoms, roads, intelligence services...

Will we soon see Konaković cleaning up crime in his own ranks, or will he continue to ignore it while members of his party copy him in their treatment of journalists?
The question is, not only for the current government, but also for the judiciary, whether we will have to wait for some new rulers to prosecute the crime happening during the time of the 'cleaners from the trio.'
