Final Rest: Collective Funeral Prayer and Burial of Four More Victims in Kamičani

(Patria) - A collective funeral prayer will be held today at the Memorial Centre "Kamičani" for four more identified victims.

This year, the funeral prayer will be held for Musić Badema, Musić Nazif, Alija Enver and Forić Alija, who were killed in the areas of Korićanske stijene, Čarakovo and Kozarac.

The youngest victim to be buried this year in Kamičani is Forić Alija. He was only 23 years old when he was killed in June 1992 in the Kozarac area.

Musić Badema is the oldest victim to be buried this year; she was 50 years old when she was killed in the Čarakovo area.

“There is a degree of relief because we will finally know the grave, so we can go and recite something. The bitterness remains because we were unable to find everything; we found about 30 percent, and the process has been ongoing for ten to fifteen years. I will not give up searching, even if it means doing a re-exhumation,” said Badema's son, Musić Suad.

The funeral prayer will be led by Reis-ul-ulema Husein-ef. Kavazović.
