Who in the Sarajevo Canton got scared of the agreement between SDA, SBiH and DF, and manipulates statements, misleading the public

(Patria) - Someone in the political arena of the Sarajevo Canton has become seriously frightened by the possibility of an agreement between the SDA, DF and the Party for BiH, out of fear and concern for the positions of municipal mayors in Sarajevo municipalities, and is acting 'preventively', trying to sow discord among potential future partners through manipulations.

It is not yet known who this is, but the path and method of disseminating information can reveal a lot. Thus, today the statement of the Municipal Board of SDA Novi Grad Sarajevo was deliberately manipulated. That Municipal Board issued a statement in line with party plans, and then someone decided to extract their own claims from the statement about the lack of support for the president of SBiH Semir Efendić and opposition to the SDA candidate for mayor, which is neither the essence nor the intention of the statement.

„The Collegium of SDA Novi Grad Sarajevo, at its session held on May 15, 2024, discussed the report of the Personnel Commission. It was noted that the Local Boards nominated a large number of very high-quality candidates, and that the Commission had a lot of work, but also a special responsibility in selecting candidates.

The position of the SDA NG Municipal Board is that the SDA, as the strongest party in BiH, should have candidates for all positions in the upcoming elections.

SDA Novi Grad will present a list of educated, professional, competent and capable candidates who will be able to meet all the challenges and needs of the citizens of Novi Grad.

Regarding the position of mayor, there are several candidates in the running, from whom the chosen one, with the support of the president and the entire Municipal Board of SDA Novi Grad Sarajevo, will CERTAINLY be the best mayor for all our fellow citizens“, it is stated.

Information we received from higher levels of the SDA indicates that they continue negotiations with partners and that someone tried to doom good intentions to failure through manipulation, from which a certain political structure would profit.

Sources from the SDA further note that this party will indeed support the best candidates primarily for the sake of citizens, and that in Novi Grad, support for Semir Efendić is unquestionable.
