(Patria) - Minister of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton Admir Katica (NIP) commented on the murder of a 19-year-old young man in the Otoka neighborhood.
"In the past 18 hours since the tragic event in the Otoka neighborhood, police officers have been working intensively on identifying and finding the person suspected of the murder.
Today in the afternoon hours, the suspect A.Š. surrendered to our authorities, after which he was deprived of his liberty and is currently undergoing criminal processing.
The investigation into this murder, in order to protect the process itself, was conducted in secrecy. Therefore, I will ask the public for patience and restraint from presenting insufficiently verified information, so that together we can prevent disturbing the family and citizens.
I am confident that our police will fully solve this crime, and we will inform the public in a timely manner about the activities," the minister stated on social networks.
Incidentally, during the day, the media encountered a wall of silence both in the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office and the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.
