(Patria) - Officers of the Service for Alien Affairs, in cooperation with other competent agencies, have in the previous period carried out all necessary planned operational measures and actions in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of finding security-sensitive foreign nationals, for whom there is available information about connections to terrorism and organized crime.
In this regard, by inspectors for aliens, a citizen of Algeria with initials S.B. alias A.B. and a citizen of Russia with initials A.G. were found in the Sarajevo area. The individuals in question, before being expelled, were placed under supervision in the Immigration Center in East Sarajevo, due to posing a threat to the security system of BiH due to their connections to terrorism.
After all activities were completed, Service officers carried out expulsion measures and removed these individuals from BiH. The Service for Alien Affairs will continue to undertake such and similar activities in the future, with the priority goal of detecting and preventing irregular migration, and thus contributing to the protection of the security system of BiH.
