Inzko: My place today is in Srebrenica

(Patria) - Former High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko arrived today at the complex of the Memorial Center in Potočari.


He expressed respect for all victims of genocide and their families, but also sent a message to politicians in the RS entity who deny it.

"I have done everything with the Law on the Denial of Genocide in BiH. I will not comment on anything else today. I came to pay my respects to the victims. My place today is not in Vienna but here in Srebrenica," Inzko said.

He also had a message for politicians in the RS who deny genocide.

"Justice is achievable. It sometimes takes a long time, but the most important thing is catharsis, the purification of people. Srebrenica is an opportunity for them to come and ask for forgiveness," Inzko emphasized.
