GSS and police, in cooperation with citizens, found missing Faruk Forto; he was exhausted and disoriented

(Patria) - After several hours of intensive search for a missing young man from Sarajevo, members of the Search and Rescue Service of the Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, several patrols of the Novi Grad Police Administration, and the Criminal Police Department of PU Novi Grad found Faruk Forto.

Faruk Forto was found slightly exhausted, hypothermic, and disoriented.

"A key role in this operation was played by cooperation with citizens who, after our announcement, recognized the person based on the description and reported information via our emergency number. Particularly notable were reports from GRAS drivers, employees on the trolleybus line.

Thanks to the coordinated activity of the Services, citizens, family, and media, the search was successfully completed, and the missing person was safely taken care of," stated members of the Mountain Rescue Service Novi Grad Sarajevo on their Facebook page, where they also thanked everyone who contributed to this joint operation.
