(Patria) - There are long queues of passenger vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings of Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Gradiška, Kostajnica, K.Dubica, N. Grad, Orašje and Karakaj.
At other border crossings, traffic frequency occasionally increases, but current waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.
Due to passenger registration under the new system for entering and leaving European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tonnes are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the Šepak border crossing. Freight vehicles may operate at the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they may cross during the 22:00 to 06:00 period).
