Proving a legally proven truth leads to its negation: Instead of proving verdicts, they should be executed!

(Patria) - Adopting laws, declarations, resolutions or other political acts that confirm the execution of genocide, which has already been proven by final court verdicts, represents only a new confirmation of the hypocrisy of the World, which has already shown its hypocrisy when it did not, although it could and was legally obliged to prevent the execution of the crime of genocide - says Sifet Kukuruz, legal expert.

"Instead of investing political energy in concrete activities to nullify the effects and results of the crime of aggression and genocide, which can be legally and politically nullified, the World is again showing its hypocrisy by allegedly politically confirming, recognizing or accepting facts that have already been legally established.

Why is the fact being ignored today that the legal credibility and validity of final court verdicts are not proven at all?", asks Kukuruz.

He adds that any proof and confirmation of final verdicts necessarily implies their challenging or, at best, leads to their relativization.

"The attitude towards court verdicts cannot and must not be based on a political stance, because one who needs to verify legal truth with a political stance, consciously or unconsciously legitimizes the existence of the opposite political stance. In the name of Truth and the future of humanity, court verdicts, as legal acts, must be preserved from political stances. Why prove what has already been proven? To whom is legal truth not enough truth? Is the authority of the most significant world judicial instance being undermined in this way? Is the legal significance of court verdicts being denied, relativized or diminished in this way, and is politics being placed above the law? Is the authority of politics above the authority of law? Does that mean that true truth is only what politics determines and accepts?", asks Kukuruz.

He adds that a world that needs to act this way only shows that the principle in its actions remains politics, not law. And that is already playing with fire or a pact with the devil.

"The issue of recognizing court verdicts and their execution is not, and cannot be, a political issue, but exclusively a legal one. If there is still justice in this world for the murdered and surviving victims of genocide, then it lies in expressing an exclusively legal, not political, stance towards genocide verdicts. A political stance towards a crime can only be important if a legal approach is not possible. However, in that case, the political stance essentially ceases to be important. If parliaments and assemblies replace courtrooms, then justice ceases to be done, and that means the World has already failed", adds Kukuruz.
